Soapstone Carving Event

Are you looking for a fun and creative activity to do on Sunday, February 19th at 1pm? Look no further! We are excited to announce our Turtle OR Bear Soapstone Carving event. Perfect for ages 8 to 99!

These soapstone carving kits are designed to inspire creativity and introduce people to the art of carving. Each kit includes everything you need to create your own life-like turtle sculpture in just 90 minutes.

The kit includes a hand-cut Brazilian soapstone shape, a kid-safe carving file, two grades of sandpaper, polishing wax for a shiny finish, and a buffing cloth. The finished sculpture is approximately 1.5” x 3” x 1” (L x H x W) and the natural color variations of the soapstone will be revealed when heated and waxed, resulting in a unique sculpture that ranges in color from green to brown.
